Lalala

Remember the other day I posted a doodle about love? I entered a doodle contest held by Groupon Malaysia. To cut the story short I won the grand prize. I freaking won the grand prize!! 

Of course I'm happy. You don't get to go on a cruise ride every day. Even though my target initially was to win second place or third, I won the grand prize. I'm happy as...as potato. I can't even tell you how happy. I'm so thankful God gave me this happiness while I am still 21 and perfectly healthy to do things. Alhamdulillah.

Anywho, I want to bring my mom if I can, because I know she likes trips and holidays and while she is still healthy and capable, of course I want her to go with me. I just wished the cruise ride was for five people excluding me so I could bring my whole family LOL.

Ahh I'll say no more. I don't feel like talking right now. So many things to do early in the semester.

A short story

Last Saturday, I went to the Big Bad Wolf Fire Sale to spend one of my BB1M vouchers. I went with Lily and my cousin by train, so the journey consumed my energy and patience. However, the book fest made me ultra happy I forgot about my little sister for a few minutes. While I was checking out the Fiction section, I turned around and Lily and my cousin was gone. I have to admit I panicked a little not because I was lost but because I got paranoid that someone might kidnap Lily, so I texted them both just to be safe. 

Thank God we reunited a few minutes later, after I wandered to check out the literature section and after they remembered to check their phones. 

I don't wanna tell you how many books I bought. I could have bought more if Lily's portion did not extend the amount I had expected and intended for her. But we spent more than  one RM50 voucher, and less than two RM50 voucher. It might not be a lot to some of you, because a lot of my friends spent almost all their vouchers on BBW!

Something funny happened on the way home. Which was ridiculous as well as annoying and irritating because at this point I was extremely tired to even talk, so I don't want to talk about it here. But I'll tell you what Lily said to me in the train on the way to KL Sentral.

Lily: Kakak, kan ada stesyen angkasapuri tu kan?

Me: Hmmm?

Lily: Angkasapuri tu dia flat eh?

Me: Itu bukan angkasapuriiii, itu pangsapuriiiiii *while holding back laughter*

DIY Tote bag

That used to be my baju kurung once.

I have ALWAYS wanted to make a hand-made tote bag. 

For some reason all this while I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Because I lack effort.

And because I hate sewing.

The sewing machine and I, we don't get along so well.

But yesterday the feeling was so strong I just had to Google up some tutorials from the web.

I found a great one immediately, and went straight to work. Werk.

Guess what, it's reversible too.

And now I know exactly how much I hate the sewing machine. 

Question.

Why do people, usually children, like to colour clouds as blue in their drawings? Because the sky is blue, and the clouds are actually white/grey. So why?

Nobody has ever been able to answer this for me.

Rain Sound

I decided to do a little sightseeing yesterday. After paying the rent which was a hundred ringgit less than it was supposed to be (because one of my housemate left the house), I bought a cup of Cappuccino Cool Blog and walked to my second favourite art shop in section 2. There was no real reason really. I just had to find an excuse to make the trip to town worthwhile. 

It was a pleasant weather that afternoon, grayish sky and mild splatter of rain, with an earphone plugged to my ear and B.A.P's new song "Rain Sound" blaring through it. It was perfect. Not a big fan of K-Pop where FT Island is an exception, but this song just managed to slither its way into my list of favourites, along with all the background music from Korean Dramas, Choi Minho (SHINee) and the Korean people and songs that appeal to my friends and siblings. I am picky like that.

Whatever. So finally I reached my destination; the art shop. Looked around aimlessly, checked out a notebook that wasn't there when I had the money to buy it, thought about how unlucky I was and then thought again maybe that was God's sign to tell me to stop buying notebooks that I won't even use, and finally, guess what I bought? An artline pen hihi. HIHI.
